Modern Gray Kitchen

BEFOREAFTER

INTRO

Welcome to our latest renovation project! For the #ModernGrayKitchen project, this client wanted to update their kitchen with a fresh, modern look while maintaining a classic and timeless feel. The key features of this project include custom shaker cabinets, a kitchen island with pendant lighting, and a gas range with a sleek stainless steel finish.

BEFORE

Before we began the renovation, the client’s kitchen contained outdated counters and appliances, and the layout wasn’t very functional. The granite countertops had sunk down on one side, the drawers were difficult to open, and a built-in corner plate rack took up valuable countertop space. According to the client,

“When we purchased the home, we knew the kitchen would need at least a facelift, if not a full renovation. The granite countertops had sunk down lower on one side of the kitchen, the drawers no longer rolled without a lot of effort and there was a large, built-in corner plate rack that covered all of the usable countertop space.”

DURING

During the renovation process, we used a beautiful Hanstone Montauk quartz for the countertops and a glass rectangle tile for the backsplash. We painted the cabinets in a stylish SW Iron Ore, while the walls were updated with a fresh coat of SW Alabaster paint. We also installed hardwood floors and modern brass hardware to complete the transformation.

AFTER

After the renovation, the client was pleased with the additional countertop space in the kitchen. According to the client,

“The biggest change in our remodeled kitchen is the available countertop space between the stove and the sink. Previously there was none, as there was a cabinet sitting on the counter between them.”

We are thrilled with how this Modern Gray Kitchen turned out. According to the client,

“The quartz countertops are our favorite selection in the kitchen. The previous countertops were a very dark color, so the new, off-white quartz immediately brightened the room and gave it a more modern feel.”

The combination of the gray cabinets, quartz counters, and glass tile backsplash give the space a sleek and modern look, while the brass hardware adds a touch of warmth. The client also had high praise for our team, stating,

“The entire team that worked on our home was great (very patient). As with all remodels, there were some bumps in the road. Everything from tile that was back ordered to modifications and repairs during the process. The team did everything they could to rectify each issue and to accommodate my type A personality. (Sorry about asking you to move the dishwasher that third time, Jason!) We would not hesitate to work with them all again.”

We hope you enjoy the photos of this beautiful transformation as much as we enjoyed bringing it to life.
