Over the years and through all kinds of projects, we've collected some favorite details that just seem to finish the job well. We pride ourselves in regularly paying attention to details in all projects. They are just as important to the overall finish of a space as the big items, and we believe they are often the little touches that enhance functionality for the client. Some of these details were our idea, some were requested by our clients, but all made a difference in their respective spaces. Here are our favorite details - bathroom edition!

Coach’s Quarters – Before & After

The Coach's Quarters farmhouse style renovation project took place at a home on a beautiful tree-filled lot in a rural neighborhood. Our clients had been in the house for years and had completed projects before, but were ready to overhaul the kitchen, living room and master bathroom to update the main floor to a more current style.

Nottingham Woods Modern Kitchen – Before & After

The Nottingham Woods Modern Kitchen project is located in a highly-coveted area in Denton with mature trees, lots of parks and well-established homes. Built in the mid-80s, the Nottingham Woods house was in excellent repair but our clients desired a more up-to-date kitchen that aligned with their style.

Modern Farmhouse Bathroom – Before & After

This project was especially exciting as it was our own master bathroom! While the room had great bones, the design was decades out of date (cultured marble and seashell sinks!). The tiled wall enclosing the tub/shower cut the room in half, making it feel small and cramped. The vaulted ceiling added great interest, but the design didn't utilize its potential as a feature in the room. We had ample counter space on the long vanity, but cabinet storage was lacking due to the outdated vanity cutout. While we appreciated the closet storage space, the old sliding door had been removed and the curtain separating the closet from the bathroom made the transition feel cluttered.

The Honey House – Before & After

The Honey House was built in the late 1990's and is located in a prominent Denton neighborhood. The house had great bones and was in excellent condition, but our clients wanted a more open layout for hosting their growing family and friends and a more updated feel. The goal was to transform the home's traditional look (heavy with dark wood) to a lighter, airier farmhouse style. The family welcomed two new grandchildren in the past several months and Honey is our client's "grandma name", so "Honey's House" became The Honey House.

Comfortable Industrial Kitchen – Before & After

This home was built in the last 15 years and had been well-taken care of by previous owners. While our clients appreciated the simple and tidy kitchen, it wasn’t quite their style. Our goals were to maximize cabinet space, brighten the room, and add new elements of design that suited our clients’ taste.
